Ein bisheriges Statement von Skype auf Twitter sagt momentan: “Some of you may have problems signing in to Skype – we’re investigating, and we’re sorry for the disruption to your conversations”.
Update 19:06 Uhr – Skype via Twitter “Our engineers and site operations team are working non-stop to get things back to normal – thanks for your continued patience”
Update: 20:15 Uhr – Skype im Firmenblog: Das Problem liegt offenbar am Ausfall mehrerer sogenannter Supernode-Computer, die das Rückgrat des Skype-Systems bilden. Ohne die Verbindung zu einem Supernode ist Skype nicht in der Lage online zu gehen. Die Skype-Techniker arbeiten mit Hochdruck daran nun neue Mega-Supernodes ans Netz zu bringen, was jedoch mehrere Stunden dauern kann.
