Wird Captain's Glory eigentlich noch in deutscher Fassung erscheinen?
Ich finde es zwar schön, die Trek-Bücher im Original zu lesen, aber es scheint ja hierzulande nichts mehr herauszukommen, so wie ich das sehe.

Was soll eigentlich der Unsinn, die Bücher immer noch zu Nummerieren?
Bei den großen Serien hat man die Nummern aus gutem Grund schon vor ein paar Jahren weggelassen

Wenn du nur wissen willst wie viele Bücher es gibt, kann man das auch in Excel sehen. Aber veröffentlichen muss man das nicht

Ich finde es zwar schön, die Trek-Bücher im Original zu lesen, aber es scheint ja hierzulande nichts mehr herauszukommen, so wie ich das sehe.

Nach gegenwärtigen Stand wird es nicht mehr auf Deutsch erscheinen, zumindest nicht vor Mai 2007.

Ansichtssache, ich persönlich finde eine strikte Durchnummerierung hilfreich. Abgesehen davon, das ich es nie ganz verstanden habe, warum Pocket Books früher zwischen Nummerierten und Unnummerierten unterschieden hat und dann plötzlich die Nummerierung ganz weggelassen hat. Das ist in meinen Augen Unsinn...

Die ursprüngliche Nicht-Nummerierung war für für Hardcover und dann zunehmend für Bücher mit irgendwelchen speziellen oder besonderen Themen.
Dann hat man halt gemerkt wie inkonsequent das war, und wollte sich ingesamt von dem Eindruck einer Fließband Produktion distanzieren.

Die Nummerierung hat nie irgendeinen praktischen Sinn gehabt, da sie keine echte Reihenfolge bedeutete. Heute werden nur Bücher nummeriert, die auch wirklich zusammengehören
