So sehr ich die Kritik daran verstehe, daß man in den letzten Wochen wichtige Dinge nur aus den Podcasts erfuhr - dies hier ist in meinen Augen *kein* Beispiel dafür.

Wenn mit den Fans bei der bloßen Erwähnung eines weiteren Cylonenmodells die Pferde durchgehen und RDM dies jetzt endlich - viel zu spät - richtig stellt, dann ist das keine essentielle Information.

Im Falle Daniel steh ich sowieso eindeutig hinter Moores Seite. Die Erwartungshaltung hier, wurde einzig und allein in den Foren aufgebaut, und ich war noch nicht mal ein großer Befürworter davon und bin froh, dass sich das letzten Endes nur als Hirnwixerei div. Fans entpuppt hat.

Wenn Fans offenbar nicht richtig zuhören können - Ellen sagte eindeutig, die "Colony" sei der Ort wo man nach der Vereinbarung mit den Old-School-Cylons hinging, um seinen Teil des Deals zu leisten - und aus der "Colony" das ursprüngliche Schiff der FF machen, dann kann da niemand was dafür außer den wirr spekulierenden Fans selber.[/

Das hab ich wohl tatsächlich überhört. In diesem Falle hab ich zwar zu vorschnell geurteilt, ändert aber nix an der Informationspolitik der restlichen Folgen.

Das mit der "Colony" war meiner Meinung nach ohnehin nie ein Streitfall. Zuerst dachte man ja, es sei ein Planet. Als gesagt wurde, dass es ein Schiff ist, wurde gleichzeitig auch erwähnt, dass es FTL-Sprünge machen kann. Das konnte das FF-Schiff nicht, also konnte es nicht ein und das selbe sein.

Und selbst wenn: Was für einen Unterschied hätte es gemacht?

Das mit den Podcasts ist auch so eine Sache. Bisher ärgert mich eigentlich nur, dass man die Sache mit Tyrol nur so in Erfahrung bringen konnte.

Der eigentliche Ärger über die Podcasts ist meiner Meinung nach nur begründet durch die böse Vorahnung, es KÖNNTEN im Finale wichtige Auflösungen fehlen, die dann auf diese Weise nachgereicht werden.

Das ist bisher aber eher nur eine Befürchtung vieler Fans.

Mal zu den Podcast im allgemeinen. Bei aller berechtigter Kritik sollte man sich doch vor Augen halten das das letztlich ein Experiment ist.
Welcher ausführende Produzent hat sich denn jemals herabgelassen und Woche für Woche sein eigenes Machwerk kommentiert? Wer ließt denn bitte in Fanforen mit und beantwortet Fragen der Fans?
Zu welcher Serie gibt es Woche für Woche Interviews mit den jeweiligen Autoren, welcher Composer schreibt einen Blog über seine Arbeit in der Serie?
Das ist doch alles ein absolutes Novum und erst einmal sehr löblich.
Deswegen auch, würde man das nicht haben gäbe es auch keine Kritik zu äußern. Wir wüssten schlicht nichts über dieses und jenes Detail. Wie in so vielen anderen Serien auch müsste man sich noch mehr herleiten.
Von daher, es mag zwar nicht glücklich sein das alles in den Podcasts erzählt wird - und mich regt das genauso auf - aber davon abzuleiten die Autoren wären nachlässiger als sonst auch zieht mE nicht richtig.

Vor allem: Hier wird ja schon wieder so getan, als würden jetzt grundsätzlich und regelmäßig offene Fragen nur im Podcast beantwortet. Warum muß bei sowas immer gleich so maßlos übertrieben werden? Es betraf IMHO zwei wichtige Fälle: Die Frage nach den Konsequenzen der Meuterei und die Frage nach Tyrols Verbleib. Das war's dann aber auch schon.

Und beide Fragen wurden ja mittlerweile auch in der Serie aufgeklärt. RDM hat da im Podcast nur 1-2 Wochen im voraus eben ein paar Sachen erzählt, die die Fans unbedingt an dieser Stelle schon wissen wollten. Ich finde es zwar auch schade, dass die Tyrol-Szenen geschnitten wurden und bis vor kurzem kein Wort über Meuterer zu hören war, aber letztendlich hat mans doch noch in der Serie gesehen und die Angelegenheit hätte auch ohne Podcasts funktioniert.

SPOILERRon Moore addressed the persist rumors about Daniel by saying that not only is Daniel NOT Kara's fathe nor does he have any role in the greater mythology. In essence, when Daniel's line was eliminated by Cavil, it was completely ended and so all the theories swirling around that involve Daniel are wrong.

Zak and Kara in the kitchen of her apartment. Lee and Kara sit at the table in her apartment and talk over dinner. Kara and a drunken Lee share some kind of moment in her apartment before he leaves. Adama in a Viper. Adama "will be stronger on the very last day" than he was at the beginning. According to Ron Moore, Inner Six "was really there and was a messenger of a higher power." According to Ron Moore, the finale is about the characters.

RDM hat bereits gesagt, wie die Erde zerstört wurde: Der 13te Stamm hat Blechcylonen gebaut, die sich gegen ihre Herren wandten. Nix mit Colony, die auf die Erde stürzt.

Damit dürfte sich das erledigt haben. Der Rest klingt auch nach Unsinn.

Zum Thema Daniel uas dem Podcast:

"I should probably say as a side note, I know there's a tremendous amount of speculation out there in the internet that Kara is the daughter of Daniel, or that Daniel, Daniel being the Cylon model that was killed or destroyed or aborted or however you want to choose to define it, by Cavil, that there's a connection between Daniel and Kara and that's part of the revelations that we're going to reveal in the finale. I don't typically want to, like, put theories to rest because it kinda spoils the enjoyment and fun of people in the show. However I do think it's worth saying that that is not part of the plan. There is no connection between Kara and Daniel. And like I said I don't typically like to sort of quash rumors and theories because part of the fun of watching a series like this is coming up with your own theories and ideas. But in this particular case I don't want people to really be distracted through the finale by this other idea, which has gained a tremendous amount of currency on the internet and among fan circles. And that's probably my own fault because I don't think I realized the impact that the backstory of Daniel would have in No Exit, you know. I sort of thought that it was an interesting story about, that defined something about Brother Cavil, or John Cavil, and his backstory, and how he reacted to the threat of someone else being as beloved as he was. It was sort of a Cain and Abel type allegory. All those reasons, I thought it was an interesting piece of backstory. But in recent weeks I've realized that the cult of Daniel has grown, that there's a tremendous amount, there's a lot of people out there who are now investing a tremendous amount of time, energy and thought into the notion that Daniel is really a powerful figure in the show, and part of the mythos, and he's directly related to Kara. And, you know, I don't want anyone listening to this broadcast, podcast, I don't want you going into the finale having your Daniel hopes up too high, because that's really not part of the plan. And again I apologize if people think that was such a gigantic mislead or clue or something. That was not the intent. I don't think I anticipated how strongly that would be grabbed by people."
