Einen richtigen Frseur werden die nicht an Bord haben, sind ja afaik keine Zivilisten auf der Voyager (mal abgesehen von diesem kleinen Nervkind und aufgesammelten Crewmitgliedern). Vielleicht macht das jemand hobbymäßig im tausch gegen Holodeckzeit oder Replikatorrationen.
Das sind aber alles so Fragen, um die sich die Produzenten nicht kümmern. Auf anderen Schiffen geht man ja auch nur zum Friseur, um sich zu unterhalten Genauso interessant wäre die Frage nach den Klos.

Klos habe ich auf der Voyager schon gesehen... Ich weiß nicht mehr in welcher Folge aber Janeway latscht morgens total verpennt in ihr Bad in ihrem Quartier... und da war auch ein Klo. Wobei ich sie es natürlich nicht habe benutzen sehen Will man dann eigentlich auch gar nicht...

Doch es gibt eine Foklge in der Neelix dem Captain berichtet, dass schon die Hälfte der klos ausgefallen sind. (Janeway scheidet ihm das Wort ab, weil sie keine Lust auf seine blumigen Beschreibungen der Folgen hat.)

The Many Hairstyles Of Janeway.



We, in the J Team, often refer to Our Icon as She of The Many Hairstyles.

Janeway has had a lot of Hairstyles, there's no getting around it. And deciding on a personal preference is no easy decision for Janewayites.

Here we present a guide, to the Many Hairstyles of Janeway, in the hopes that you might find it of use in deciding upon your favorite.

The pictures here are fair game for anyone that wants to use them- they're not J Team graphics (so we don't mind) but were picked up from various helpful sites around the net. Of course, a link back to http://janeway.org would certainly be appreciated!

There's a spoiler for the Season 6 Finale at the bottom- so watch out!



# The Bun of Steel.



As seen predominantly in the first two seasons. Referred to by the Earthly Incarnation as "Someone you wouldn't want to meet on a Dark Night." Hmm. Still much beloved among fans, The Bun had a few variations, such as these from "Caretaker…"

…whereby the amount of damage Voyager received could be determined by the state of the Icon's hair. Of course, it only took a few passes of those firm but fair hands to restore Her hair to its previous state of perfection. Ah, as if we needed more proof of Her divine status!



# Definitely Not Caretaker.

The Icon originally started out with Her hair like this. But still, the Powers that Be saw fit to reshoot "Caretaker" using the Bun of Steel. Oh well.....



# Hair all the Way down.

As seen in "Eye of The Needle." Even when rudely awakened from sleep by her inconsiderate Minions aboard Voyager, the Icon demonstrates just why She's the Captain. Wonder what they'd have thought if she went on the bridge looking like this? Hmm.



# The Best of Both Worlds.

Here the hair is kept out of Her eyes, so Janeway is always ready for action; in this attractive "Half Way between two Styles."



# The Resolutions Styles.

Oh shush JetCers. Janeway did adopt some unique styles in this episode, so they are included here. Subtext? What subtext?



# Seven of Nine Hair.

Now being worn by another of Her minions aboard Voyager, Janeway wore this style in "Cathexis."



# Early Appearance of the Bob.

Here we can see the Bob made an unscheduled appearance in "Parturition."



# The Ponytail.

Adopted in the Two Part "Basics" after Janeway made yet another glorious sacrifice for Her crew- giving up some hair to enable them to start a fire. Now would we find the other Captains making such a sacrifice?



# The PageBoy.

I like the PageBoy. I like it a lot. She looks relaxed, ready for anything, and it shows off that devine bone structure. *sigh*



# PageBoy Variations

Another Plus in the PageBoy's Favor. Its "Stunt Hair" Qualities overtake that of the Bun. Its been wet, its been burned, its been windswept. And it always looks amazing. Oh Goddess, why ever did you see fit to grow your hair?



# The Killing Game Hair.

Proving that She doesn't just look great in 24th century style- look at those 1940's curls! Oh yeah, and the Klingon thing.



# Another Transition Stage Style.

Not specifically a Hairstyle, but those skilled Janeway Hair Watchers will notice a subtle shift away from the Pageboy after the "Killing Game." Perhaps the Hirogen did something to put Her off, but it begins to grow longer and loose its cute shape. Watch "Hope and Fear" to observe this more closely.



# The Captain of the Warship Voyager.

Ooh, the swagger, the stare, the tone of Her voice, ruthlessness, the er, black leather...



# The Bob.

The Icon's current Hairstyle, from Season Five onwards.

Elegant, stylish, feminine: the Bob is perfect. It epitomizes our Icon in so many ways.

While I like the Bob a great deal, I am put off slightly by its lack of movement. The evil Hairspray demons that spray it between takes are certainly on the J Team's List.



# Bob Variations.

"In the Flesh" gets a special mention, because, simply, you cannot miss the Icon's hair in this episode. It moves, it shines.. *sigh* its perfect.

# Twentieth Century Girl.

In the episode "11:59" Janeway shows us she doesn't just need a StarFleet Uniform to prove her Divinity.



# Queen of the Spider People.

# How on Earth is She going to get out of this one?

The Book of Janeway





Here we present "The Book of Janeway" a catalogue of the best Janeway Wisdoms from various episodes. It will grow with time.

We have a theory about this. We think that every Starfleet Captain must complete a course in rhetoric speechmaking before they graduate the Academy. Well, if this is the case, Our Icon certainly graduated with flying colours.



First, the Janewayisms that are synonymous with the Auburn Queen. They crop up at various intervals throughout any episode. J Team members cheer when Janeway says:

"How so?"

"Battle stations!"

"Do it!"

"I beg your pardon?"

For those not familiar with various JanewayGestures, the following paragraph may be helpful:

"Janeway puts her hands on her hips. She tosses her hair. She rolls her eyes, then focuses them like a laser on an unsuspecting crewman, who spontaneously combusts from the level-ten skunk eye. She turns up her nose. She smiles with a purity that makes hearts melt. She strokes, pats, pounds and otherwise touches every officer and alien within reach as she speaks with them. A monstrous mug of coffee beams into her grip, and she takes a swig that measures on the Richter scale. "

Ja, habe ich gesehen. Aber ich finde, die kurzen Haare stehen ihr super gut! Hat sie echt ein Gesicht für. Obwohl mir die langen natürlich noch besser gefallen

Ja, das mittlere finde ich auch nicht schlecht aber auf dem ganz rechts... Da sieht sie auch aus wie meine alte Sportlehrerin

Das rechte ist wie in Year of hell, das mag ich wirklich. Da wirkt sie um einiges jünger und sehr lässig, ready for action.
Ganz schlimm der Knoten aus den ersten seasons. Grausig, da sieht sie aus wie meine Englischlehrerin. Und wenn sie dann auch noch "I beg your pardon." sagt kriege ich schlimme Flashbacks....
Und nun wie gesagt, das EvilJanewayHair...well, well, scary, sadistisch...brrr (Verdammt ich muss mir die Episode wirklich mal besorgen.)
